Lake Avenue Beach Access

Lake Avenue Beach Access is a small City of Kelowna off-leash dog beach on Lake Avenue, one of the four official off-leash beaches in the city. The City lists just a beach area and trails on this 0.19-hectare pocket of shoreline, so come for a quick lake dip with the dog rather than a full beach day, and pick up after your dog. There is a tiny City pay lot at the west end of Lake Avenue (seven spaces, $1.50 an hour, two-hour limit, gate locked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.), so arrive early or on foot.
