Poplar Point Dog Beach (Sutherland Bay Park)

Poplar Point Dog Beach is one of the City of Kelowna’s four official off-leash dog beaches, just north of Sutherland Bay Park on Ellis Street. Treat it as a dog outing rather than a swimming beach for people: let the dog into the lake at the beach area, then walk the park’s trails. Sutherland Bay Park itself is a mix of off-leash and on-leash, so keep the leash on away from the dog beach; the park also has a playground, a washroom and a boat launch.
