Waterfront Park – Tugboat Bay Beach

Tugboat Bay is the beach you can walk to from downtown Kelowna without a plan: a sandy, shallow swimming area tucked into Waterfront Park, with a concession stand and washrooms steps away and the boardwalk running along the water all the way to City Park. It suits a spontaneous swim between other downtown stops. If you drive, the Waterfront Park lot at 1200 Water Street is pay parking (111 spaces, $1.50 an hour, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily in summer). Dogs are welcome on leash on the walkways but not on the beach. Interior Health tests the water here through the summer.
