Hydraulic Lake Recreation Site

Hydraulic Lake is the near end of the McCulloch Reservoir and the easier of its two campgrounds to reach — a short turn off Highway 33 rather than a run down the 201 — with 30 sites, a cartop launch and good rainbow fishing on a 10-horsepower lake. The Kettle Valley Rail Trail passes right by, so you can ride to the Myra Canyon trestles from your tent and be back for the evening rise.
