McCulloch Reservoir Recreation Site

About an hour up Highway 33 from Kelowna, the McCulloch Reservoir site puts 39 campsites on the shore of the big plateau lake that locals also call Hydraulic Lake: cartop boats and canoes on 10-horsepower water, rainbow trout in the evenings, and the Kettle Valley Rail Trail and Kelowna Nordic's trail network a few minutes away. It is cool up here when the valley is baking, first come and first served, and quiet after eleven by rule. A second Recreation Site, Hydraulic Lake, sits on the same reservoir closer to the highway.
