Mill Creek Regional Park

Mill Creek Regional Park is a cool, shaded surprise east of Kelowna's airport: a flat, easy trail under cedars that follows Mill Creek to a set of cascading waterfalls — the Waterfall Trail is only about 800 metres one way, with a short boardwalk section, so it suits small children and anyone after a quick, cool escape. At 13.5 hectares it is small, but the falls, the shade on a hot afternoon and the creek's role as an important wildlife corridor make it worth the short drive into the Ellison area. Washrooms are on site and dogs are welcome on leash. There is a parking area on the west side of Spencer Road and street parking on the east side. Park hours shift seasonally, from 6 a.m. to between 6 and 11 p.m., with reduced maintenance from November to March.
