Myra Canyon – Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park

Myra Canyon is the Okanagan's signature rail-trail day: the historic Kettle Valley Railway grade curls around the canyon southeast of Kelowna on its trestles, and BC Parks has placed 14 viewpoint benches along the way, with the trestles themselves opening onto the valley and the steep, rocky canyon walls. Walk it or ride it — cyclists are asked to walk their bikes across the trestles, and e-bikes are allowed on the signed trails. Pit toilets sit at the Myra, Ruth and Stewart Road East trailheads and just beyond Trestles 1 and 8. Dogs must be kept under control, and BC Parks notes the backcountry beyond the trail is not suitable for pets. The park stays open through winter, when Little White Mountain offers backcountry skiing and snowshoeing. The classic day is the 12 km one-way section between the Myra and June Springs access points, with 18 trestles and bridges concentrated in an 8.8 km stretch; BC Parks lists roughly 75 parking spots at Myra and about 33 at June Springs, plus the Stewart Road East access from Kelowna. The Little White Trail (Pooley Creek to Upper Crawford) is closed.
