The public is welcome on the forest trails around the UBC Okanagan campus. The 1.7 km Pine Loop climbs through ponderosa pine to a lookout (about 20 minutes), and the paved Snowberry Loop looks east over the Ellison farmland. The trails link toward the Quail Ridge trails and the Robert Lake area, known for birding.
