Wild Horse Canyon Trail to Commando Bay

Okanagan Mountain Park's longest trail runs 24 km through a granite canyon with Okanagan Lake views, with side trails down to the Commando Bay, Buchan Bay and Good's Creek marine campsites. Commando Bay, where Chinese-Canadian soldiers trained in secret in 1944, makes a full-day hike from the north lot at the end of Lakeshore Road; the whole trail is a two- to three-day backpack.
