Pelmewash Parkway

Pelmewash Parkway is a beautiful, peaceful waterfront pathway along the west side of Wood Lake. The paved multi-use path runs continuously from Winfield to Oyama, giving safe public access to and along the lakeshore for cyclists, walkers and anyone rolling at an easy pace, for all ages and abilities. At its north end it links to the Okanagan Rail Trail and at its south end to Pretty Road, so it slots neatly into a longer ride or a short lakeside stroll. The District's 2025 trail map lists the parkway at 6.8 km and wheelchair accessible, and the trailhead for the Spion Kop hiking trails is midway along it. Dogs on leash.
