Lumby Salmon Trail

The Lumby Salmon Trail is the village's easy nature walk: three interconnected trails along Bessette and Duteau creeks, the easternmost spawning grounds for Coho and Chinook salmon in the Okanagan, linked through the downtown streets so that walks can run from as short as 1 km to as long as 8 km. The terrain is flat and accessible to wheelchairs, prams and bicycles, with interpretive signs and touch-and-play activities for young children along the way; the Village runs guided walks from June to August. Your leashed pet is welcome and doggie bags are provided. The Lumby Lions campground sits at the head of the trail, and the Village has not published a separate trailhead address.
