Christie Memorial Park

Christie Memorial Park is Okanagan Falls’ largest beach park: over an acre of soft, well-kept sand on the south shore of Skaha Lake, the best place in town to work on a summer tan. Picnic tables and benches are spread through the park for big gatherings, two full-size beach volleyball courts sit on the west side of the beach, and lush grass and large shade trees give you somewhere to escape the sun. The Heritage Walkway runs the entire waterfront and is lit in the evening for a stroll, and there are public washrooms and change rooms, a playground and drinking water. Dogs get their own beach where they can swim; elsewhere in the park pets must be on leash.
