White Lake Trail (White Lake Grasslands)

A quiet, open-country walk in the White Lake Grasslands Protected Area between Okanagan Falls and Oliver, past an aspen grove and a chain of alkali ponds through dry grassland and open pine forest to Mahoney Lake, with wildflowers in spring. It's about 13 km (about 2 hours one way to the Mahoney Lake parking area). Trails are unmarked and there's no water, so bring a map and plenty to drink. Dogs on leash.
