Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course

Owned and operated by the Osoyoos Indian Band, Nk'Mip Canyon plays through true desert terrain: exposed rock faces, dramatic elevation change, and a mix of long, bruising par 4s (a signature 460-yarder among them) against shorter, target-golf holes that reward precision over power. The picturesque 13th is a highlight in a round that swings between demanding and purely scenic. It's fair enough for newcomers but has the teeth to satisfy low handicaps, which has earned it recognition as one of Canada's hidden-gem courses. The practice setup is unusually complete for the region: a 15-stall driving range, chipping green with its own bunker, a large putting green, and three practice holes, backed by the on-site River Club Golf & Learning Center for lessons.
