Golden Mile Trail

The Golden Mile Trail is Oliver's best-documented hike, a 4 km loop that starts on the scenic property of Tinhorn Creek Vineyards at 537 Tinhorn Creek Road — the winery invites visitors to hike it — and climbs through the vineyard to a gate, then up a moderate incline to a viewpoint over the valley. Where the trail forks, the left path leads to the ruins of the historic Fairview stamp mill and crosses the creek to loop back to the gates. Spring runoff affects both the level and the flow of the creek, so cross at your own risk. Neither the winery nor Destination Osoyoos publishes a dog rule for the trail.
