Sun Bowl Arena
Skating in Canada's warmest town is free: the Rotary Club of Osoyoos sponsors public skating at the Sun Bowl Arena on Saturday (5:15 to 6:15 p.m.) and Sunday (3:30 to 4:45 p.m.), and the lobby Skate Library lends skates free. Bring a helmet, which is required. Monday and Wednesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. is the Senior & Tot Skate, and Tuesday and Thursday is shinny for players 19+ in full gear. As home of the Osoyoos Coyotes, the arena sometimes bumps sessions for bookings, so check the town's calendar.
