Coyote Cruises – Penticton Channel Float

Floating the Penticton channel is the city’s signature summer ritual: a lazy 7 km drift down the river channel that links Okanagan Lake to Skaha Lake, with the sun overhead, ducks alongside and half of Penticton floating with you. Coyote Cruises runs the operation from 215 Riverside Drive at the Okanagan Lake end — single and multi-person tube rentals, larger “party island” floats for groups, dry storage for your things and regular shuttle buses that bring you back to the start when you climb out at the Skaha end. Visit Penticton calls it a must-do for the whole family; budget three to four hours for the full length depending on the current, wear sunscreen, bring water and do not tie floats together. The season opens at the end of June and runs through the summer into September.
