Sovereign Lake Mountain Bike Trails (Silver Star Provincial Park)

In summer the Nordic ski trails and the singletrack around Sovereign Lake in Silver Star Provincial Park become a cool, high-elevation escape from the valley heat for cross-country riders. The North Okanagan Cycling Society maintains the singletrack, which is mostly blue and black, rooty, old-school technical trails. You start from the Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre parking lot. Snow often lingers until early summer, so expect wet spots early in the season.
