Rose Valley Regional Park

Rose Valley Regional Park is 250 ha of natural parkland in the Rose Valley neighbourhood of West Kelowna, with a network of multi-use trails, spectacular views over the valley, a conservation area and a natural pond where birds and other wildlife can be spotted. The park was badly burned in the 2023 McDougall Creek wildfire and is recovering through a phased, large-scale restoration effort, including volunteer tree planting. As of May 2026 the Regional District reports it partially re-opened with some areas still closed to visitors — observe the barricades and signage and check the RDCO wildfire-recovery page before you go. Washrooms are provided and dogs are welcome on leash. Visit Westside describes the main circuit as about 6 km round trip with roughly 80 metres of elevation gain, moderate to difficult, taking two to four hours.
