Telemark Nordic Club

Telemark is the Central Okanagan's Nordic centre, 9 km up Glenrosa Road in West Kelowna on a paved and plowed road — a 25-minute drive from downtown Kelowna and 15 minutes from downtown West Kelowna, with the parking lot 3 km before Crystal Mountain. The club grooms more than 50 km of cross-country trails for skate and classic skiing, several of them lit for night skiing, and maintains 60 km of snowshoe trails through quiet ponderosa forest, with rentals and lessons for all levels and a lodge with a fire to warm up beside. Day passes are straightforward: a one-day ski pass is $22 for adults and $11 for youth, night skiing $13 and $6.50, a snowshoe pass $11 and $5.50, and the K9 trail $6, all including GST, with children under six free. The lodge sits at about 1,000 metres.
