Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park – Jade Bay & Juniper Bay

Jade Bay and Juniper Bay are the swimming heart of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, reached by a 1.5 km trail down from the parking. Both bays have buoyed swim areas, and the park keeps them boat-free with no launch, so the water stays for swimmers. Dogs have their own places here: a pet beach at the west end of Jade Bay and the pet-friendly stony Pet Beach a short 1 km walk along the Crest Trail, with dogs kept off the other beaches. Pit toilets, including an accessible one, are the only facilities, and there are no lifeguards. Gates are open dawn to dusk.
