Halloween in the Okanagan 2026

This guide covers Halloween season in fall 2026, from a haunted corn maze north of Vernon to costume dances in Osoyoos. Times, prices and dates can change, so open each event page for current details before you head out.

We've grouped things by the kind of Halloween you're after. Each item shows its town and date.

Haunted mazes, trails and tours

  • Field of Screams XIII: The Unlucky (Vernon, until Nov 1): four separate walk-through mazes at Historic O'Keefe Ranch north of Vernon, each with its own set and its own live scare actors waiting in the corn. The mazes start taking people at 6:30, so the whole thing happens in the dark, and Wednesdays are discounted all season. Organizers don't recommend it for children under 12.
  • The Walk of Terror Spectacular (Armstrong, Oct 24): an evening at Caravan Farm Theatre, 6:30 to 10 pm.
  • Ghost Tours of Vernon Halloween Flagship Tours (Vernon, nightly Oct 24 to 30): from Justice Park at 7 pm.
  • Tombstone Tours: Best of the Buried (Kelowna, Oct 23): a one-hour guided tour of the Pioneer Cemetery with Kelowna Museums, from 6 to 7 pm. Admission is $15; register with the organizer.

Family-friendly and community Halloween

  • Haunted House at the Museum (West Kelowna, Oct 20 to 31): the Westbank Museum's 6th annual Haunted House, open weekdays 9 am to 4 pm and Saturdays October 24 and 31 from noon to 7 pm. Entry is by cash or a non-perishable food donation to the Central Okanagan Food Bank.
  • Haunted Halloween Trail at Sagebrush Ranch (Summerland, several dates until Oct 31): at Sagebrush Stables, from noon.
  • 6th Annual Halloweenie: Halloween Day Family Celebration (West Kelowna, Oct 31): at Grizzli Winery, noon to 4 pm. Admission is $10.
  • Gnome-a-ween (West Kelowna, Oct 24): at Truck 59 Ciderhouse, 11 am to 3 pm.
  • All Hallows Festival (Osoyoos, Oct 24 and 25): at the Gyro Bandshell, 4 to 8 pm.
  • Don-O-Ray Farm Adventure (Kelowna, October): in October the farm turns into a Haunted Farm Adventure. The farm also has a petting zoo and a 7,000-square-foot hedge maze.
  • Davison Orchards (Vernon): a family farm with free admission where, in season, you can u-pick apples and pumpkins and ride the tractor-pulled apple-bin train.
  • Paynter's Fruit Market (West Kelowna): in fall, the pumpkin patch and seasonal events make it an easy family outing.

Spooky beyond Halloween night

  • Ghost Tours of Vernon (Vernon): costumed hosts lead lantern-lit walking tours through downtown Vernon's Lower East Hill, mixing local history with ghost stories, a tradition now in its 23rd year. The flagship tour runs about 1 hour 45 minutes, and the season is July–August and October.
  • Caetani Cultural Centre (Vernon): the historic heritage home of artist Sveva Caetani, which hosts art workshops, markets and seasonal ghost tours.
  • Exit Kelowna Escape Games (Kelowna): five themed escape rooms, including one called Haunted. A solid pick for groups and families.
  • Xperience Games Kelowna (Kelowna): tech-based escape rooms with no locks or keys, such as Haunted Apartment. Most games run 60 minutes for 2 to 6 players, ages 7 and up.
