Desert Gold is the sharper-edged of Osoyoos Golf Club's two courses: a links-style layout carved directly into the desert bench above Lake Osoyoos, where sloping fairways, real elevation change, and unforgiving desert brush punish loose shots. It's the course to choose when you want to be tested, with sweeping views over the lake, orchards, and vineyards as compensation for the accuracy it demands. Shared with sister course Park Meadows, the practice facility is a strength: a 14-stall driving range, a large putting green, and an 80-yard short-game area with two target greens and a bunker. Golf Academy lessons with PGA of Canada pros and Greenside Bar & Grill's lakeview patio round out the stop.
