Irrigation Canal Walkway

The Irrigation Canal Walkway is a 4.3 km fully paved loop on the west side of Osoyoos that Destination Osoyoos recommends for cycling, rollerblading and strollers. Starting at the corner of 62nd Avenue, the path overlooks the town’s agricultural landscape and Osoyoos Lake, passes through a tunnel and then loops around the Osoyoos Airport for a close look at the desert ecosystem the area is known for. It is a flat, family-friendly ride that also links into the rest of the town’s paths. Parking arrangements and costs are not published, and no dog rule is published for the walkway.
