McLaren Park Arena skates from October to mid-March and on Saturdays the rest of the year. Family Skate staff help with skate aids, Open Public Skate saves a third of the ice for under-fives with a guardian, Lap Skate (8+) is for fitness. Drop-in hockey runs for 16+ ($10) and 55+ ($8), plus Preschool Stick 'N Puck. Adults pay $5.50 and families $14, and skates rent for $4.25. Helmets are strongly recommended, with a few free loaners, and required for hockey. Book sessions online.
