Summerland Museum & Archives is a community museum on Wharton Street covering Syilx history, early orchard farming and the Kettle Valley Railway. Upstairs, the Giant's Head Model Railway shows Summerland in the 1920s and 1950s. Kids' drop-in workshops and the Bert Simpson insect collection add hands-on fun. Admission is by donation (suggested $5 per adult, $2 per child), and the front entrance has a ramp, though the second floor is reached only by stairs.
