The Rise earns its name: the course sits a thousand feet above Okanagan Lake, and twelve of its eighteen holes look straight down over the water, making it one of the most scenic rounds in the Okanagan. It's the only Fred Couples Signature Course in Western Canada, co-designed with Gene Bates and opened in 2008, playing to par 72 over roughly 6,600 yards from six sets of tees that let it flex from beginner-friendly to demanding. The back nine turns serious: the downhill dogleg 15th carries water on the approach, and 16 demands a full carry over water to a narrow green that punishes anything short. Public tee times are available, and the Edge Restaurant, 30,000 square feet of clubhouse with 360-degree views, is worth lingering at afterward.
