Cottonwood Park (Cottonwood Beach)

Cottonwood Beach is the family end of Osoyoos Lake: a sandy beach with shallow water that reaches far out into the lake, which makes it excellent for children and perfect for catching all-day sun (bring an umbrella in the summer months). Cottonwood Park sits right behind it with colourful flower gardens, well-maintained landscaping, benches for the views and a paved, wheelchair-friendly walkway, so you can build sandcastles, picnic on the grass and wander between swims. Public washrooms are in the park, open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May 1 to October 15. This is not one of the Town’s designated dog swimming areas; Osoyoos asks that dogs in its parks be kept under control on a leash.
