Gyro Beach

Gyro Beach is Osoyoos Lake in the middle of town: a sandy beach behind the Osoyoos Museum that runs from the lawn-bowling green to the Watermark, with Gyro Park and its bandshell right behind it. Parking and washrooms are on site, and the washrooms stay open year-round (7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from May 1 to October 15, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in winter). A secluded dog swimming area is tucked behind the museum; otherwise dogs are not permitted in the park from June through August except on the walkways. All Town beaches are smoke-free.
