Switchbacks climb from the end of Harrington Court above Peachland, with wide views of Okanagan Lake and the gorge behind the mountain. A short side trip leads to a rare 400-year-old ponderosa pine, and the trail passes near the old Gladstone gold mine. It's a loop of about 6 km with roughly 250 to 300 m of climbing; allow 1.5 to 2 hours. Markings can be faint, so stay on the main trail. Dogs on leash.
