Lakawanna Park sits across Lakeshore Drive from Okanagan Beach and is a summer favourite with families. Kids can cool off in the water spray features, which run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily from May long weekend to late September, or burn off energy in the fenced adventure playground. Shade, benches, picnic tables, washrooms, tennis courts and lake views make it an easy break from the sand.
