Okanagan Lake Provincial Park

Okanagan Lake Provincial Park, north of Summerland on Highway 97, is a camper’s beach: pebbly rather than sandy, with buoyed swim areas below the two campgrounds, a day-use area of picnic tables along the shore, a playground and a concrete boat launch at the south campground, and a summer concession at the south gatehouse. Pit and flush toilets and campground showers are provided. Dogs must be leashed and are not allowed in the beach areas, and there are no lifeguards. BC Parks notes the dry hillsides above the campgrounds are rattlesnake habitat, so watch where you step. The 2025 season ran March 28 to October 13. Between them the North and South campgrounds hold 175 sites (174 reservable) plus eight walk-in tent sites, each with its own shower building, and the park is one of the few in the valley that lists winter camping.
