Willow Beach

Willow Beach is the sandy centre of Gellatly Bay and, in the City’s own words, one of West Kelowna’s best waterfront destinations. The sand is perfect for building sandcastles, the sheltered bay means the water is usually pretty calm, and there are trees for shade, a volleyball court off to the side, benches and tables, a year-round washroom and free parking. There are no concession stands nearby, so bring what you need. The lakeside walkway links it to the rest of the Gellatly Recreation Corridor, where the CNR Wharf adds a gravel beach, a swim platform and a wharf. Dogs are not allowed on the beach itself but may walk on-leash on the grass and walkway.
