Echo Lake Provincial Park protects a forested mountain lake southeast of Lumby, reached by about 20 km of gravel road off Highway 6. It's popular for fishing for rainbow trout, lake trout and kokanee in both summer and winter, and for swimming and paddling. There are no provincial campsites, but the private Echo Lake Resort on the lake offers camping; there are no lifeguards, and pets aren't allowed on beaches.
