Pinnacle Lake Trail

Follows Railroad Creek to Pinnacle Lake, where early-summer waterfalls pour off the surrounding cliffs into the lake. It's about 6.2 km with 420 m of climbing (about 5 hours); the first 3 km are level and very marshy. Access is up the South Fork Forest Service Road, 1.5 km past the Gold Panner; high-clearance vehicle, July to September. It's in the Monashee backcountry about 65 to 70 km east of Lumby, near Cherryville.
