Twin Lakes Trail (Monashees)

A steep climb to a cirque viewpoint over the emerald-and-blue Twin Lakes, with routes beyond toward Bolder and Neapolitan mountains. It's about 7.6 km with 420 m of climbing (about 5 hours). The parking lot is 14 km up the North Fork Forest Service Road and needs a high-clearance vehicle; go from July to September. It's in the Monashee backcountry about 65 to 70 km east of Lumby, near Cherryville.
