Vista Pass Trail

Climbs to Vista Pass on the divide between the Okanagan and the Arrow Lakes, with big views of the Pinnacle Peaks. It's about 9.5 km with 715 m of climbing (about 5 hours), user-maintained, with no facilities beyond the parking lot. Access is up the South Fork Forest Service Road, 1.5 km past the Gold Panner; high-clearance vehicle, July to September. It's in the Monashee backcountry about 65 to 70 km east of Lumby, near Cherryville.
