When the Coghill and Main families — the people behind Neighbourhood Brewing — said they were getting into wine, they were told it was a foolish idea. They bought a winery in January 2022 and named it accordingly. The result is a tasting room at District Wine Village that sets out to show the boisterous side of wine while removing any pretension, which in practice means you can ask the obvious question without anyone raising an eyebrow. Fruit comes from their home vineyard in North Naramata plus small lots from selected growers around the valley. Tastings are $10 a person, waived if you buy a bottle. Hours are seasonal and the doors close in January and February, so plan around the shoulder season.
