Kickininee Provincial Park

Kickininee Provincial Park is three tiny lakeside picnic areas tucked between Highway 97 and Okanagan Lake, 10 km north of Penticton, each with a buoyed swimming area and picnic tables on lawn shaded by deciduous trees. Kickininee itself has four tables and a 44-spot paved lot and can only be entered northbound; Soorimpt and Pyramid can be reached from both directions, and Soorimpt has the park’s only boat launch. Each site has a small flush-toilet building in summer and a pit toilet off-season; accessibility information is available for Pyramid and Soorimpt. There are no developed trails and no lifeguards. Dogs must be leashed and are not permitted in the beach areas.
