Christie Falls

A tall waterfall you can walk behind, with a small cave beside it, reached by a short but steep trail through forest burned in the 2009 Terrace Mountain fire. The hike is about 2 km return with around 200 m of climbing (about an hour). Getting there takes about an hour from Kelowna, half of it on forest service roads, and the last kilometre is rough. Snow lingers here, so go after June 1. Not suited to young kids or dogs.
