One of the highest summits around Okanagan Lake, with a near 360-degree view over the Thompson Plateau, reached on an old forest road through a silver-white 2009 burn. It's about 10 km return with 500 m of climbing (2 to 3 hours). Access is about 35 to 45 minutes from Kelowna on the Bear Lake and Esperson forest service roads; trucks can drive closer than cars. Snow lingers into late spring.
